Trond Wingård
My name is Trond Wingård. I’m an economist by education, project manager by occupation, and programmer by heart. My main professional interest is agile and lean software development, but I’m also above average interested in estimating and risk management.
I am quite active in the Norwegian agile community, and was one of the organizers of the Norwegian agile conferences Smidig 2007 and Smidig 2008 (“smidig” being Norwegian for “agile”). I have also been a speaker at several conferences, the latest being XP 2010. Some of my appearances have been taped (only interesting for those who understand Norwegian, though), including:
- Da jeg brukte User Stories første gang (When I first used User Stories) – Smidig 2007
- Iterasjon 0 – få prosjektet ditt i gang på to uker (Iteration 0 – get your project going in two weeks) – Smidig 2008
- I’m sick of agile theory, now tell me something useful (with Christian Hauknes) – JavaZone 2008
- Smidige prosjekters verdibløff – og noen botemidler (The value bluff in agile projects – and some remedies) – Smidig 2009.
I am currently employed as a Senior Project Manager at Statkraft AS in Oslo, Norway. Speaking of which, please check my disclaimer.
You may follow me on Twitter (I’m an irregular tweeter.)
